Vegan Sandwich Recipe 2 Ways

Tofu “Deli” Slices Recipe - Sustainable Version (Serves 6)
Ingredients
block extra firm tofu (cut into 1/2 inch slices)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/4 tsp. pepper
Instructions
Combine soy sauce and seasonings in a medium-sized bowl.
Press, then marinate your sliced tofu in the seasoning mixture for 1-2 hours.
Heat a pan on your stovetop, and grease with olive oil.
Fry all slices in the oil until golden brown on each side.
Store in a glass container, and use in sandwiches, wraps, or paninis!
This tofu recipe generates only about 0.07kg of GHG emissions per serving! So, not only is it lower in fat and sodium than its animal counterpart, it’s better for the planet, too.
